Apart from our spectacular prop collection and the amazing work done by our stylists on themed events throughout Sydney, we also have our nine unique studios at our Sydney Props complex in Carrington Road, Marrickville, where the best creatives in Sydney weave their magic on a daily basis.
We want to showcase the work that goes on in our studios, in front of the camera and Behind-the-Scenes on our Social Media accounts and feature your work in our EDMs that we send out two times a month to over 40,000 subscribers.

Great Gatsby, Cotton Club and Hollywood – three glamorous, spectacular themes for corporate dinners, large events or small!
The Sydney Props Group has many Signature Themes designed to thrill and dazzle your guests. In this newsletter we take a quick look at three of our most spectacular themes, Great Gatsby, Cotton Club and Hollywood.
Great Gatsby Theme
Inspired by the novel “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Sydney Props can tailor a package to suit your needs and budget including lights, sound and entertainment whether your requirement is an intimate setting for a small group or a large gala dinner for 500 or more guests.
With an extensive range of art deco props, period set pieces, backlit panels with custom designs, drapes, painted backdrops, candelabras, statues, urns and plinths; we can transform any venue into a breathtaking, shimmering environment for your guests to enjoy.
Cotton Club 1920s to 1930s Theme
Prohibition Era
The production, sale and consumption of alcohol might’ve been illegal, but the Prohibition Era was extremely wild and extremely glamorous. In fact, just about everything was glamourised – crime, alcohol, dancers, performers, fashion, and cars.
Use props from our Prohibition Era Theme to create a dark majestic club and bar, with flappers, art deco features and draping. You can also recreate a distillery with our alcohol still and barrels or create a gangster hideout with our range of cutouts and backdrops.
Hollywood Theme
Our Hollywood props set the scene for a directorial debut or a glittering awards ceremony where celebrities walk the red carpet and pose for paparazzi. This theme is always popular for trade shows, event spectaculars, gala dinners, photo ops, themed parties and training session and can easily be tailored to suit your venue and budget.
Select film making props from the celluloid era, life-size colourful characters based on mega movie stars like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis, painted cutouts, brilliantly coloured backdrops, illuminated Hollywood signs, velvet drapes, red carpet and chrome-plated bollards.
Other Hollywood props available include actual and replica movie props like our giant gold award statues, fun giant popcorn buckets and ice cream cones, studio pedestal cameras, vintage microphones, bandstands and sound equipment.
